What does ART look like?

At FBEYS, our school has Grade 1-4 choir weekly in the gym and students are highly engaged in singing and actions!

In Art class, students explore various techniques and medium to engage in expressive activities. 

The K class embraced their differences by drawing self portraits after reading the book “I Like Myself”. 

The Gr. 1 class completed a  “directed drawing” art activity of a person catching a snowflake on their tongue with head tipped upwards.

The Gr. 2 class used a variety of materials and their fingers to blend chalk, creating dimension in their bells.

Finally, the Gr. 4 class explored perspective by drawing four snowmen looking down at them.
